Laura Apsit Livens Collaborates with MAPPIN & WEBB

For this seasons Great British Drama at Royal Ascot I have been asked to collaborate with Mappin and Webb to create their Ascot windows for Regent Street, Bond Street and Guilford windows during June.

For this fantastic opportunity I was able to work alongside James Shouli and Jonathan Watson Visual merchandisers of Mappin and Webb, working to the exact pantone colour to match the brand, I sourced dyed sinamay, pheasant feathers, and flowers, to get a perfect marriage of my signature styles and their brand.

For this celebration of the collaboration and also a recent store in Chester my hometown we held a Royal Ascot event their advising customers the do’s and don’ts of Ascot, a fantastic evening I was graced to meet the Crown Jeweller who with his royal warrant is one of the only people at one time allowed to touch the crown jewels.

The initial visual I worked from to create the 14 bespoke pieces, the racing horses supporting some of the most beautiful Mappin and Webb Jewellery perfect to match with a hat piece by Laura Apsit Livens.
