SS14 Collection - ‘Blue Epoch’
Do you ever feel an attraction to colour? I feel emotion when I look at this colour, throughout this concept collection this colour blue has been screaming at me.
From a kidulthood memory Yves Klein had been engrained into my imagination. I loved his used of intense colours and I wanted to play with colour and structure with this collection. Using the closest pigment I could find to IKB (International Klien Blue) I designed the collection for my enjoyment. A everyday use of Bic pens led me to a collaboration with Bic to use their lids to produce a mask made from their cobalt blue lids, one of the most experimental pieces from the collection.
